Corporate Marketplace Architect (M365)

NO C2C. W2 ONLY. MUST SIT ONSITE 3 DAYS A WEEK IN CHARLOTTE, NC.

TEKsystems is currently looking for a highly skilled Corporate Marketplace Architect with deep expertise in designing, developing, and governing enterprise grade marketplace solutions and web add ins optimized for mobile devices. This role will lead the architecture, standards, and strategic evolution of our internal and external application marketplace, ensuring seamless integration, security, and scalability across our enterprise ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Microsoft 365, Office Web Add ins, mobile application frameworks, cloud architecture, and modern API driven platform design. This architect will partner with engineering, product, and security teams to drive adoption of marketplace solutions that meet business needs while upholding enterprise governance.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Architecture & Strategy

• Design and maintain the overall enterprise marketplace architecture, including application onboarding models, lifecycle management, and governance frameworks.

• Define the strategic roadmap for mobile optimized and cross platform marketplace experiences.

• Ensure marketplace solutions integrate seamlessly with corporate identity, authentication, security, and compliance requirements.

Web Add In Development & Integration

• Architect and guide the implementation of Office Web Add-ins and other web extension technologies optimized for iOS and Android clients.

• Establish coding standards, performance requirements, and UX guidelines for mobile-capable add ins.

• Partner with product teams to extend enterprise workflows into mobile-first add in experiences.

Platform Engineering & Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership on API integrations, data flows, and middleware services supporting marketplace applications.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure marketplace and add in solutions are preferred

Skills

Microsoft, Corporate governance, SharePoint, O365, Migration, Office 365

• 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, cloud architecture, or enterprise platform engineering.

• Hands on experience designing and developing Office/Web Add-ins, including manifest schemas, JavaScript APIs, and mobile optimized UI frameworks.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), OAuth 2.0, Graph API, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Experience architecting mobile-friendly web applications or hybrid applications (e.g., responsive frameworks, PWAs, React/React Native experience a plus).

• Deep knowledge of enterprise security, compliance, governance, and identity standards.

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or managing corporate marketplaces, app catalogs, or multi tenant SaaS platform ecosystems.

• Familiarity with Intune app protection, mobile device management, and conditional access policies.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation for web add ins or mobile applications.

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Architect Expert, Azure Solutions Architect, or similar.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.00/hr.
