Senior Specialist, Integrated Business Planning

Scout Motors Inc.
North Carolina
Here at Scout Motors, we're carrying forward the heritage of one of the most iconic American vehicles in history. A vehicle dating back to 1960. One that forged the path for future generations of rugged SUVs and trucks and will do so once again.

But Scout is more than just a brand, it’s a legacy steeped in a culture of exploration, caretaking, and hard work.

The Scout brand is all about respect. Respect for the past and the future by taking an iconic American brand that hasn’t been around for a while, electrifying it, digitizing it, and loading it with American innovation. Respect for communities by creating a company that stands for its people and its customers. Respect for both work and play, with vehicles that are equally at home at a camp site, a job site, or on a Tuesday commute. And respect for our customers by developing two powertrains that meet their requirements — an all-electric powertrain as well as the Harvester™ range extender powertrain which includes a built-in gas-powered generator with an estimated 500 miles of combined range.

At Scout Motors, we empower our talented, inclusive, and entrepreneurial teams to innovate. What makes a Scout employee? Someone who is a visionary and a leader, who seeks new paths and shares lessons learned. A knowledgeable doer who collaborates across the company to build better. A go-getter with unrivaled passion.

Join us at Scout Motors and be part of shaping the future of transportation. If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!

Overview

As a Sr. Specialist on Scout Motors’ Integrated Business Planning team, you will be a key player shaping the commercial heartbeat of one of the auto industry’s most exciting new ventures. You’ll support the design and setup of the systems, processes, and strategic rhythms that ensure Scout Motors delivers the right vehicles, to the right customers, at the right time—while driving long-term business value.

This role is ideal for a data-driven contributor who is comfortable with ambiguity and building from a clean slate, while keeping a trained eye fixed on hands-on execution. You’ll interact with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, and Retail to turn customer demand and supply realities into an integrated plan that powers growth and agility.

What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Support the implementation of Scout Motors’ Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework, defining the details of the end-to-end process that connects commercial strategy, industrial rigor, and financial planning across the enterprise.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and decision-makers across Sales, Production, Finance, and Operations to drive a data-backed planning cadence.
  • Contribute to long-term demand forecasting and constraint-management models that connect customer insights with supply capabilities.
  • Partner with IT and data teams to ensure ready-to-go planning systems and tools that will enable transparency, scenario planning, and executive-ready insights.
  • Facilitate the executive planning rhythms, ensuring that Scout’s leadership team has the visibility and insights needed to make confident, integrated business decisions.
  • Incorporate dynamic market signals — from reservations and configuration trends to field intelligence and macroeconomic indicators — to create and refine forecasts and drive competitiveness.
  • Identify and secure useful data and translate it into strategic actions, ensuring every planning cycle advances Scout’s commercial and brand objectives.
  • Support storytelling and consensus-building efforts, turning complexity into clarity in a fast-evolving business environment.

Location & Travel Expectations :

  • This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters within 3-6 months of start date. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
  • This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

What you’ll bring

We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset. You’ll be comfortable with change and flexible in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You’ll take a collaborative approach to achieve ambitious goals. Here's what else you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience leading OEM sales forecasting, demand planning, or integrated business planning within automotive or comparable manufacturing environments.
  • A proven ability to define and manage projects, engaging stakeholders in an energized and organized way to accomplish clear objectives on time.
  • A strategic mindset with strong analytical and technical depth, comfortable leveraging data tools and systems to inform decisions.
  • A track record of driving cross-functional alignment across Sales, Production, Finance, and Retail operations.
  • Experience creating and refining forecasts using multiple diverse data points, with a view toward adapting artificial intelligence and automation over time.
  • A bias for collaboration and innovation — you build bridges, not silos, and see ambiguity as opportunity.
  • A desire to shape the future of an iconic American brand as it redefines capability and electrification in the modern era.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc.
