Job Description

As a Security Officer - Zone Patrol Driver in Morrisville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls, document observations, and provide clear, professional customer service to employees and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements, while supporting a culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client's staff, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a tech office and/or campus location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior office areas, lobbies, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing entrances and exits, checking identification when directed, and documenting visitor activity according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
