Full-Time | $17/hr + Commission

About HOTWORX® Matthews

HOTWORX® Matthews NC is a franchise fitness studio offering a unique infrared workout experience. We are seeking an energetic, sales-driven General Manager to lead daily operations, grow membership, and build a high-performing team. This role is ideal for someone with fitness industry experience and a strong background in sales and team leadership.

Responsibilities

Operations & Customer Experience

• Maintain a 40-hour weekly schedule

• Ensure professional appearance and adherence to company standards
  

• Lead weekly/monthly team meetings and training

• Maintain a 5-star online presence through excellent customer service
  

Sales & Marketing

• Meet or exceed monthly membership sales and prospecting goals

• Utilize consultative sales skills to convert leads
  

• Create organic social media content

• Participate in community outreach and outside sales
  

Team Leadership

• Set and manage employee performance goals

• Motivate, coach, and develop staff
  

• Create a positive, energetic work culture

Studio Maintenance

• Perform and document equipment checks
  

• Manage and track product inventory

Requirements

• 2+ years managing operations in a fitness center, retail, or sales-driven environment (preferred)

• 2+ years leading and developing staff (required)
  

• Strong commission-based sales background (preferred)

• Valid Driver’s License (required)
  

• Willingness to travel for corporate events and local sales activities (required)

• Must be 18+ years old
  

• Degree in Business, Fitness, Health, or related field (preferred)

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 11:00am–8:00pm

• Friday: 9:00am–6:00pm

• Sometimes Saturdays to support/events
