As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help prevent potential issues, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This position requires you to be armed and to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will also interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Job Schedule:

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
- Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required in the event of incidents or emergencies.
- Follow all protocols for handling and carrying firearms in accordance with company and location-specific guidelines.
- Assist with crowd control and/or movement of individuals within the location as needed.
- Remain alert to potential security-related risks and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a valid armed guard card or license.
- Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
