As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge checks, and help confirm only authorized individuals enter the facility. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries to the appropriate check-in process.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and document unusual activity, access issues, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and the perimeter, reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance concerns per site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
