Account Executive - EdTech - Remote
About this role:
We are looking for an Account Executive with 5+ years of closing experience to own a full sales territory end-to-end at a high-growth EdTech company backed by $80M from JMI Equity. You'll be a key driver of expanding its AI-powered Student Voice Intelligence platform to hundreds more colleges and universities across the country.
What will you be doing?
- Own your territory end-to-end — from prospecting strategy to close, in partnership with the VP of Sales
- Drive daily outbound activity via phone, email, and social to generate and book new meetings
- Lead prospect presentations and manage the full sales cycle from first contact through signed contract
- Build, manage, and forecast a healthy pipeline in CRM
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years in a closing role with a consistent, verifiable track record of quota attainment
- Full-cycle outbound sales experience — prospecting, presenting, and closing independently
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills using a CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
- Resilience and comfort operating in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Must be authorized to work in the US — no visa sponsorship available
Salary:
$120K - $130K (OTE: $250K - $260K) (Base salary of $120,000–$130,000 with an OTE of $240,000–$260,000 (approximately 50/50 base/commission split).
