Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Octapharma Plasma, Inc., you will play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards in plasma collection and testing to create life-saving medications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
• Performing audits and inspections to guarantee the quality and safety of plasma donations.
• Developing and implementing quality assurance programs and initiatives.
• Conducting investigations and root cause analyses for any quality issues identified.
• Training staff on quality assurance processes and best practices.
• Participating in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Biochemistry.
• Proven experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards and guidelines (e.g., FDA, cGMP).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role.
• Experience with plasma collection, testing, or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
• Certifications quality assurance or regulatory affairs are a plus.
