Solution Support Specialist – Charlotte, NC

As a Solution Support Specialist, you will serve as a key onsite resource for our strategic healthcare customer in Charlotte, providing advanced clinical support, workflow optimization, and hands-on training for radiology and cardiology teams. This role plays a critical part in driving customer success and improving imaging and diagnostic outcomes.

Your role:

  • Serve as the primary onsite clinical support liaison for radiology and cardiology software platforms, reporting daily to the customer’s Charlotte location.

  • Deliver hands-on training and education for radiologists, cardiologists, technologists, referring physicians, and system administrators to ensure effective system use and adoption.

  • Analyze and optimize imaging workflows, collaborating across Philips Businesses and customer departments to improve diagnostic processes and coordinate onsite representation.

  • Proactively manage escalations, complaints, and feedback, independently assessing issues and implementing effective strategies to maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Work closely with customer IT and clinical teams to support seamless operation and integration of RIS/PACS, CVIS, imaging modalities, analytics, and reporting systems; travel to additional customer sites as needed.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, clinical education and training, clinical practice, medical software support, or similar customer-facing roles (individual contributor).

  • Your skills include knowledge of imaging workflows and standards such as DICOM, HL7, RIS, PACS, and CVIS, as well as experience with imaging/reporting systems; onsite workflow consulting in radiology and cardiology environments is highly preferred.

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Medical, Science, Healthcare Consulting, Clinical Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • You’re an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across clinical, technical, and administrative teams, and are willing to travel up to 30% while maintaining 100% onsite presence in Charlotte as needed.

  • You’re adaptable, proactive, and able to independently address customer needs while meeting the Physical, Cognitive, and Environmental job requirements of the role.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position .

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a field based role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in the Charlotte, NC area is $87,750 to $140,400.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.  

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Charlotte, NC area .
