Warehouse Supervisor
Job Description The Warehouse Supervisor supervises, and coordinates activities of workers engaged in shipping, receiving, and warehousing. The right candidate will take pride in contributing to our continued growth and expansion initiatives as part of the team. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
Position Responsibilities
• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in shipping, receiving, and warehousing.
• Studies system orders to ascertain type and quantity of product to be used to fulfill order requirements.
• Assists with communication to customers(internal/external), vendors, and suppliers.
• Drives team to obtain accurate inventory and warehouse cleanliness.
• Works alongside departments for adjustments needed for inventory.
• Trains workers in operation of equipment.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisors or management.
• Possess thorough understanding of our products and procedures.
• Adheres to all health, food safety, HACCP, Allergen, sanitation standard operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Maintain all records accurately and completely.
• Hold self and team accountable to policies and procedures.
• Help where needed to support the team.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Participate in audits and investigations as needed.
• Support a culture of Operational Excellence.
• Participate in problem solving when needed.
• Uphold the Plant Vision and Code of Conduct.
Position Requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong communication skills and supervisory skills.
Proven supervisory and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Ability to successfully complete Prime Beverage Forklift certification.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume distribution warehouse setting.
• Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred
