Developmental Disability (DD) Direct Support Professional - Residential Based

Position Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals in developing new skills and achieving their goals as outlined in their Person-Centered Plan (PCP).
- Provide and maintain a safe, supportive environment for clients at home and in the community.
- Use positive reinforcement and behavior modification techniques to encourage growth.
- Help clients with home maintenance and daily living activities as prescribed in their plan.
- Complete accurate documentation of services provided.
- Collaborate with a Team Leader and IDD Program Director for guidance and support.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Compassionate and caring attitude with a strong work ethic and effective communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to work in a variety of environments, including navigating stairs and other barriers in private residences.
