**Job Title: Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)**

**Reports To:** Norma Brintle, RN (Agency Director)

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our healthcare team. We are a home health agency and you will be working one on one with a client in their home. The successful candidate will provide essential direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). As a CNA, you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents/patients by assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Assist clients with mobility, including transferring, positioning, and ambulation.
- Monitor and report residents' vital signs, physical condition, and emotional status to nursing staff as directed on care plan
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and tidy environment for clients.
- Participate in the implementation of individualized care plans.
- Engage with clients to foster a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and daily activities.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and company policies/procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Nurse Aide in [North Carolina].
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care and maintain confidentiality.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and transferring patients.
