You will conduct routine foot patrols across interior and exterior areas, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations with clear, professional communication. You will also assist employees and visitors with directions and access questions, reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach while delivering through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office, lab, and common areas and around the building exterior to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry points and observe visitor flow, checking identification and/or authorization as required by site procedures and directing guests to the appropriate check-in process.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Complete shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift pass-downs, and report maintenance hazards and/or suspicious activity to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
