Charge Capture Manager

Description

The Charge Capture Manager ensures complete, accurate, and timely charge capture. This position develops, oversees, and maintains Epic revenue cycle systems, as well as other billing processes and systems to effectively meet established charge capture goals and service standards to ensure organizational success. Provides direction for the Charge Capture division. Promotes and emulates a patient-centric and customer service focus within the division. Responsible for the service and productivity performance of the division. Ensures the Charge Capture division is integrated with other departmental areas. Develops the Charge Capture division's operational policies, procedures standards and expectations, providing clear opportunities to meet or exceed our mission, vision and values. Conducts performance reviews of direct reports; develop and mentor direct reports and staff. Participates in community and agency events. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration/Accounting/Finance/Nursing

- 2 Years Leadership experience in healthcare

- 7 Years Health Information Management OR Accounting/Finance - Financial Analysis OR Revenue Cycle Preferred

- Need to have solid understanding of Charge Capture & Hospital Billing

- Need to have audit experience

-Preferred to be certified coder / have strong experience with denials

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
