The Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of high-tech diagnostic medical imaging equipment. This role focuses primarily on MRI and/or CT systems , ensuring equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and optimal performance in clinical environments.

• Perform installation, repair, and corrective maintenance on diagnostic medical imaging equipment.

• Conduct preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory standards.

• Inspect, test, replace, and adjust malfunctioning components and parts.

• Maintain accurate service records , including system issues, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.

• Support cost containment initiatives by identifying and implementing cost-effective equipment maintenance solutions.

• Maintain and manage parts, tools, supplies, and documentation .

• Communicate effectively with clinical staff, customers, and internal teams regarding equipment status and service needs.

• Work hands-on with high-tech diagnostic imaging equipment , primarily MRI and/or CT systems.

• Ensure all regulatory and compliance documentation is complete and up to date.

• Stay current with industry trends, OEM updates, and technical advancements within the field.

• Minimum 7 years of experience performing corrective and preventive maintenance on high-tech diagnostic imaging equipment.

• MRI and/or CT experience required (experience with both is strongly preferred).

• Formal training in MRI and/or CT modalities.

• OEM training on GE and/or Siemens imaging equipment is required.

• Associates degree in Medical Electronics, Electronic Technology, Imaging Service Technology, or a related field,
  OR

• Equivalent military technical training in a related discipline.

• CRES (Certified Radiology Equipment Service) and/or CLES (Certified Laboratory Equipment Service) certification preferred but not required.

• Additional vendor/OEM training preferred.
