Established small law office in Brevard is seeking an experienced, highly organized full-time Paralegal/Legal Secretary .
This position is well suited for a seasoned professional, including second-career applicants, seeking meaningful work in a structured legal environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Drafting, proofreading, and filing legal documents
- Managing case files, calendars, and deadlines
- Client communication and intake
- Time entry and billing support
- Assisting with trust and operating account coordination
- Legal research
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior law office experience
- Experience with MyCase or similar case management software
- Familiarity with court filing procedures
- Understanding of trust accounting principles (including strict separation of trust and operating funds)
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills and sound judgment are essential. Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
