Wholesale Architectural Sign company seeks metal fabricator.
Job Details:- This position is for a metal sign fabricator who will be building custom signs from aluminum per drawings provided by customer. Some metal fabrication that is not sign related as well, fencing, railings, fabricated parts etc. Based on customer need.
- Requires aluminum welding, forming metal into architectural signs. Cut out metal needed for sign on/brake press operation.
- Ability to read job folder to understand fabrication requirements.
- Sign Experience is great, but will train the right candidate who has an aptitude to learn, and has some basic knowledge in how to weld/fabricate. (Assembly line style welding (same parts over and over) is not what this job about.) Every job is different, custom and unique.
- You will be building and fabricating custom signs each day based on job assignment and job drawings or fabricating metal structures (fencing, railings, handles or other metal parts.)
Pay is based on your experience and level of knowledge (if you don't have a sign background.) Evaluation/assessment after 90 days on job performance will determine any increase in hourly rate. Aptitude to learn, accuracy job performance will be rewarded.
