Mechanical Technician
A Mechanical Project Engineer needed in the Newton, NC! Join Our Client, an innovative industry leader driving manufacturing growth. Bring your Associate's degree, 3+ years of installation experience, and deep mechanical expertise to a dynamic team where your technical solutions truly matter. location: Newton, North Carolina
job type: Contract
salary: $22.86 - 32.00 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Associates responsibilities:
- Manage the installation, alignment, calibration, and debugging of new mechanical systems and manufacturing lines to meet strict milestone and timeline objectives.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical failures across systems like hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors by conducting root cause analysis and interpreting technical blueprints.
- Proactively identify technical issues and implement robust, industrialized mechanical solutions to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, vendors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues while protecting project scope, timing, and cost metrics.
- Develop vital engineering documentation, manage spare parts inventory across a dual-plant footprint, and support the operations workforce through training on equipment changes.
