MATERIAL HANDLER/FORKLIFT DRIVER | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Four Oaks NC 27524 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $18/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 6am-2pm

MATERIAL HANDLER/FORKLIFT DRIVER | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Material Handler/Forklift Driver is essential for moving materials, parts, and finished goods throughout our facility to ensure smooth production and logistics operations. You will work in a metrics-driven environment, following clearly defined safety and quality guidelines.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MATERIAL HANDLER/FORKLIFT DRIVER | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Material Handling: Operate a variety of equipment including forklifts , conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to transport assemblies and finished products.
• Operational Support: Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to complete routine tasks and maintain accurate records of material movement.
• Inventory & Logistics: Apply basic skills in material management and logistics to support plant and warehouse goals.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with Team Leads and co-workers to ensure work flow efficiency.

MATERIAL HANDLER/FORKLIFT DRIVER | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Previous forklift experience is REQUIRED
• 1+ year of warehouse or related industrial experience.
• computer skills and the ability to perform simple math calculations.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents in English.

Physical Demands & Environment

• Physical Activity: Regular walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
• Lifting: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Environment: This is a non-climate controlled warehouse (hot in summer, cold in winter). Work involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, and moderate to loud noise levels.
