As a Security Officer - Armed Site - Government Location in Lillington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding to situations as they arise. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter prohibited items or individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required, following established protocols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on patrol activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
