Production Associate - Level I 2nd shift
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level I to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility Rocky Mount NC
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure Safety : By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you will help maintain a safe working environment.

- Maintain Quality : Following standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures helps minimize costs and quality exposures.

- Support Teamwork : Communicating effectively with your team and support teams to improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow.
- Environmental Responsibility : Recognizing and minimizing the negative impact of your work on the environment.
- Continuous Improvement : Engaging in training and personal development to stay aligned with business requirements and improve your skills.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance : Keeping your work area clean and orderly, performing routine housekeeping tasks, and identifying equipment needing repair.

Education
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Minimal or no work experience required.
- Training requirements that meet the quality standards and the ability to maintain production flow during certification.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Basic engine setup to harness and de-harness engines for testing
- Coordinating with team members while using hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively
