About the Role:
Advance Concrete is looking for a Superintendent for our Concrete Construction Division that is a driven, detail-oriented leader. This vital role is responsible for all onsite aspects of executing concrete projects including project planning, quality control, jobsite safety, customer communication, and leading all project crew members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all co-workers follow safe work practices.
- Inspect work and give appropriate feedback to co-workers to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Lead project layout process to ensure proper installation of work.
- Plan tasks to meet project schedule and to proactively identify production and coordination issues.
- Serve as AC’s point of contact for all on-site communication.
- Coordinate progress and changes with AC’s general superintendent and project manager.
- Report site progress through daily reports and accurate time clock entries.
- Lead and manage all assigned crew members.
Ideal Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of self-performing concrete experience in field, preferably at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency with layout, rebar tying, formwork, subgrade prep, and pouring concrete.
- Good communication skills especially in managing crew and coordinating with customers.
- Strong work ethic and well organized.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States (AC participates in E-Verify)
- Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
Other Details:
- Role may involve some overnight travel depending on assigned projects.
- Company vehicle provided.
- Position is full time, and pay will be based on experience level.
