Description:Veneer Technologies is looking for a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our team! Veneer Tech's Mechanical Engineer position is responsible for supporting our manufacturing operations through the design, development, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems, processes, and production equipment (knowledge of European design a PLUS!). This role involves collaborating closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing processes. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability coveragePaid time off (PTO)Paid Christmas Shutdown Week 401(k) with company matchTuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Design and implement mechanical systems and tooling to improve manufacturing efficiency, safety, and quality. · Provide engineering support for the installation, programming, maintenance, and optimization of production equipment. · Read, develop and maintain detailed mechanical drawings, process documentation, and work instructions including machinery SOPs. · Lead or participate in root cause analysis and corrective action for mechanical failures or production issues. · Ensure mechanical designs and systems comply with safety and regulatory standards. · Assist with the development of preventive maintenance schedules and training for maintenance personnel. · Evaluate and select materials, components, and suppliers for manufacturing needs. Other duties as assigned.Requirements: Strong understanding of manufacturing machinery repair such as troubleshooting, machining, welding, forming, and assembly.Ability to weld using MIG and/or TIG techniques.Experience working with various voltage types (3phase, 480v, etc)Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in manufacturing settings.Knowledge of European schematics and/or experience working with Siemens, Cooper, Festo HIGHLY PREFERRED Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.Apply HerePI278984185
