Line Cook

Nick & Mike Bar and Grill – Charlotte, NC

Nick & Mike Bar and Grill is hiring experienced Line Cooks to join our fast-paced, high-volume kitchen in Charlotte. Our kitchen is compact but produces a large volume of food, so we’re looking for cooks who are efficient, organized, and take pride in consistency and cleanliness .

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and ticket times
• Work efficiently in a small kitchen with high output expectations
• Maintain clean, organized workstations during and after service
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Communicate clearly with teammates and management during busy shifts
• Assist with prep, stocking, and cleaning as assigned
• Handle food safely and properly at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Previous line cook experience preferred (high-volume experience a plus)
• Ability to work quickly, cleanly, and under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Team player with a good attitude and solid work ethic
• Ability to follow direction and recipes exactly
• Dependable and punctual

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment

Schedule & Availability

• Flexible scheduling
• Nights, weekends, and holidays required
• Full-time and part-time positions available
