Speech-Language Pathologist Job Details

- Employment Type: Travel SLP (locum tenens)

- End Date: September 24, 2025
- Contract Duration: 12 weeks
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift: 10-hour days, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with weekend rotation
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,750 - $1,790
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of recent SLP experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts and participate in weekend rotations
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered healthcare
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a hospital setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and strategies for ongoing care
- Participate in hospital initiatives to improve patient outcomes and support clinical excellence
