Job Title: Packaging Operator I (Operator 1 – Packaging Operations)
Location: Mebane, NC 27302 (On-site)
Pay: $19.00/hour (W2)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Job Type: Contract to hire based on performance and attendance
Openings: 4

Job Summary

We’re hiring a Packaging Operator I to support the manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products. This is an on-site role in Mebane, NC , ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, good documentation habits, and comfort working in a regulated manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Manually inspect, label, and package finished products per procedures and Quality specs
• Perform finished product packaging to meet customer, internal, and clinical demand
• Inspect in-process packaging/components to ensure consistent quality and remove defects
• Complete accurate documentation (e.g., device history/batch records, inventory counts)
• Perform basic math to support batch record completion
• Assist with inventory counting activities as needed
• Participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions/observations
• Perform routine cleaning of packaging stations and equipment
• Follow all PPE, gowning, and contamination control requirements
• Handle hazardous waste appropriately (as required)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ months of industry work experience (manufacturing/packaging experience preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
• Comfortable with documentation / good documentation practices
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime as required
• Basic computer skills (general business software)
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Works well in a team environment
