We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to oversee the ongoing maintenance and care of a private residence on a 20-acre property . This role requires a hands-on professional with experience in general maintenance, landscaping, equipment repair, and facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team to ensure the property remains safe, clean, and functional year-round.

Key Responsibilities:

Grounds & Landscape Maintenance

• Maintain lawns, trees, and other landscaping features.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Monitor irrigation systems and perform basic repairs and modifications.

Building & Facility Maintenance

• Inspect and maintain buildings, structures, water features, fences, and hardscape on the property.
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Conduct routine checks on HVAC systems, lighting, and other utilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and identify potential hazards.

Equipment & Tools

• Maintain an inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Ensure proper operation and storage of maintenance equipment.
• Coordinate repairs with external vendors when necessary.

Property Upkeep

• Keep pathways, parking areas, pool and tennis court clean and hazard-free.
• Assist with setting up or tearing down for events or activities held on the property.
• Monitor for pests and coordinate control measures as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training a plus.
• Relevant maintenance experience, preferably on large or multi-use properties.
• Proficiency with power tools, landscaping equipment, and general repair techniques.
• Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or landscaping is a plus.
• Experience working on estate grounds, farms, campuses, or large properties.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintenance manuals.
