Material Handler

We are seeking dedicated Material Handlers to join our team at a chemical manufacturing plant. We have openings for both day and night shifts, operating on a 2-2-3 schedule. This role involves moving materials within the facility and requires a keen sense of responsibility and teamwork.

• Operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
• Handle products weighing up to 50 lbs and roll large drums weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Assist with tasks outside the standard material handler duties as needed.

• Experience with sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Ability to perform general labor tasks such as loading and unloading.

• Previous experience in manufacturing or as a material handler.
• Background in landscaping, carpentry, or construction.
• A positive attitude and willingness to assist in various areas of the facility.

The work environment is non-climate controlled, meaning it can become extremely hot in the summer and quite cold in the winter. Employees must be comfortable working in these conditions while adhering to safety protocols.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salisbury, NC.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
