Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Join a specialty retail pharmacy team in Winston-Salem, NC, as a Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment with the potential for direct hire. This role offers a dynamic environment focused on both sterile and non-sterile compounding, providing an excellent opportunity to utilize your pharmacy expertise and expand your skills.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break
- Job Type: Contract to hire
- Pharmacy system: PK (similar to QS1); training provided
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications and provide exceptional patient care
- Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding tasks following established protocols
- Enter and verify orders with attention to detail using the PK system
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure workflow efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of pharmacy practice experience
- Experience with sterile compounding is highly desirable
- Familiarity with non-sterile compounding is a plus
- Must hold an active pharmacy license in North Carolina
