Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Lumberton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations through strong communication, teamwork, and customer service while making a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism in an armed patrol post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or potential hazards according to site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
• Support access control activities by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required, and documenting security-related incidents and/or daily patrol activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
