General Production Worker

**Hiring for General Production Workers in Greenville, SC pays up to $16/hr.** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers to join our team. You will play a crucial role in the production of concrete stone, ensuring quality control and compliance with specifications. This position involves operating machinery, loading raw materials, and performing maintenance tasks in a labor-intensive environment. **Responsibilities** + Load raw materials into machines to produce concrete stone. + Change specifications on touch screens to produce correctly sized blocks. + Perform quality control checks to ensure blocks meet compliance standards. + Operate machinery and clean out machines at the end of each day. + Remove materials and perform shoveling and light maintenance tasks. + Lift materials weighing up to 100 lbs. **Essential Skills** + Basic mechanical skills + Experience with general labor and production operations + Ability to operate machinery + Capability to perform heavy lifting and handle construction tasks **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in concrete production, yard work, and landscaping + Skill in using hand tools, power tools, and a tape measure + Forklift operation experience is a plus **Why Work Here?** Join our team and enjoy comprehensive benefits where the company covers 75% of costs. The facilities are covered but have open areas for ventilation. Expect a dusty, dirty, and hot environment with long shifts of 12 hours, typically 5-6 days a week. Work hours are from 6 AM to 6 PM or night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM. The work is labor-intensive, requiring consistent physical effort. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, SC. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
