**Hiring for a Maintenance Specialist** **Hours:** 7pm-7am 223 Shift **Pay: 35-40/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a chemical plant. This role requires expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting motors, pumps, and various sensors. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of blueprints and electrical diagrams, with significant experience in the chemical manufacturing industry. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, and sensors including heat, pressure, photo eyes, and flow sensors. + Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams for effective maintenance tasks. + Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal functionality. + Perform electrical and PLC troubleshooting to maintain efficient operation. + Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards at all times. **Essential Skills** + Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics. + Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance practices. + Expertise in electrical, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must have prior experience in chemical manufacturing. **Why Work Here?** Join a great team culture in a long-standing business, offering stability and a supportive work environment. **Work Environment** The position is based in a chemical manufacturing facility that includes both indoor and outdoor work areas. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
