Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Shipping department supporting logistics and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Burgaw, NC

Pay Range: $20.00

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.)

What's the Job?

• Operate a walkie rider pallet jack for pulling orders and transporting pallets of product
• Be a motivated and open-minded team member, willing to adapt to new techniques and processes
• Load and unload pallets to and from trucks efficiently and safely
• Use handheld computers and other technology to track load progress accurately
• Work flexibly across different areas according to business needs and adhere to company policies and procedures

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Minimum of 6 months of forklift experience required
• Ability to read orders and record information in English
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Forklift certification is required
