Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Weekend Program)

Job Overview:
A high-volume, Level III trauma hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join its imaging team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety, accuracy, and adherence to departmental protocols. The ideal candidate is skilled in working across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
- Review and verify physician orders, ensuring accuracy prior to imaging
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and obtain complete medical histories
- Administer IV contrast as needed and document appropriately
- Evaluate image quality and collaborate with radiologists when necessary
- Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies, including assisting in code situations
- Maintain strict adherence to MRI safety standards and infection control policies
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including Siemens 3T and GE 1.5T systems
- Accurately document procedures, charges, and patient information in the EMR system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- ARRT (R)(MR) certification required
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on MRI experience preferred
- Experience in a high-volume hospital setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR and advanced MRI equipment preferred
Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $34.90 – $43.63/hour
- Weekend Differential: +$8.00/hour (Friday 7 AM – Monday 7:30 AM)
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
- Relocation Bonus: Up to $5,000
