Fixture Design Engineer

A.) or equivalent in manufacturing or engineering from two-year college or technical school; one to two years related engineering or sales experience or three to five years production experience in related industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret all customer blueprints, knowledgeable in geometric tolerancing and ability to use Solidworks, AutoCAD and Pro E software. Experience with Microsoft tools including Project, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Language Skills : Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively and respond professionally to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Math Skills : Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of basic algebra, plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Skills : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Employee is occasionally required to lift up to 30#. When operating equipment employee may be required to lift up to 50#.
