Automotive Service TechnicianModern Ford of Boone – 300 New Market Blvd, Boone, NC 28607 About the JobModern Ford of Boone is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. Qualified candidates will have prior hands-on technician experience and a strong work ethic. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible new hires. Pay & Benefits * $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates * Weekly performance bonuses * Competitive pay based on experience * Top Tech+ Program for Technicians * Healthcare benefits available after 30 days: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, voluntary life insurance, disability, accident, and specified disease coverage * 401(k) eligibility after 30 days of service * Paid holidays and Paid Time Off * Heated bays and a 5-day work week * Professional work environment with growth opportunities Responsibilities * Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders in line with dealer and factory standards * Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts * Inform Service Advisors immediately if additional work is required * Perform road tests as needed to ensure quality repairs * Maintain a clean and organized work environment * Complete other service-related tasks as assigned Qualifications * 2–3 years of automotive technician experience and/or training * High school diploma or GED required * CDK experience preferred * Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills * Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. as needed * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record About UsModern Ford of Boone is part of the Modern Automotive Network, a fourth-generation family-owned business serving North Carolina since 1933.
