- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Install electrical components such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
- Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns Requirements:
- Proven experience as an electrician in commercial or residential settings
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations
- Ability to use hand tools and specialized electrical equipment safely
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team Skills:
- Frame carpentry: Knowledge of basic carpentry techniques for installing electrical components in walls, ceilings, and floors.
- NEC: Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) for ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Blueprint reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to plan electrical installations.
- Commercial electrician: Experience working on electrical systems in commercial buildings such as offices, retail spaces, or warehouses.
- Hand tools: Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems.
- Electrical: Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuits, wiring, and components.
- Industrial electrician: Experience working on electrical systems in industrial settings such as factories or manufacturing plants.
- Build: Ability to assemble and install electrical systems according to specifications and building codes.
- High voltage: Knowledge and experience working with high voltage electrical systems.
