This Position reports to:
Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate a detailed fabrication schedule and production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and customer demand. Feed information on production capacity issues and material availability.

The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite

This role is contributing to the EL Distribution Solutions in Mebane, NC.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Creates and maintains a detailed production schedule.
• Monitors schedule adherence, identifies key root causes for deviation, and takes follow-up improvement action.
• Monitors and feeds information on production capacity issues and material availability.
• Translates projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule.
• Identifies current planned level of demand and creates tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand.
• Establishes priorities, sequence, and lead time of each operation to meet delivery dates per schedule/plan.

Qualifications for the role

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years working in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years work with SAP.
• Data Analysis & Reporting.
• Resource Management & Capacity Planning.
• Knowledge and use of tools - tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed .
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
