About this role:

Digital, Data, & AI (DDAI) within Consumer Banking and Lending is seeking a Data Management Analyst to join the Consumer Data Governance​ Data Defects team.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in moderately complex analysis to identify, assess, and remediate data quality, data integrity, process, and control gaps

  • Adhere to and support established data governance standards, policies, and procedures

  • Define data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark and monitor the state of data quality

  • Design, implement, and monitor data governance, data quality, and metadata policies, standards, tools, processes, and procedures to ensure effective data control and remediation

  • Develop and maintain basic documentation supporting requirements, design decisions, issue remediation, and closure activities

  • Support issue remediation efforts by performing medium‑risk data profiling, business and data analysis, and data mapping to support root cause and impact analysis

  • Provide support for regulatory analysis and reporting requirements

  • Recommend and support plans for assessing the quality of new data sources and data onboarding initiatives

  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to document and maintain business, technical, and data-related metadata, including systems, data elements, and controls

  • Consult with stakeholders to assess and improve the current state of data quality within assigned areas of responsibility

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Consumer Banking & Lending products, applications, Risk Assessable Units, and controls

  • Experience navigating policies, procedures, and regulation requirements in alignment with role

  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple business partners and lines of businesses

  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas

  • Strong attention to detail with organizational skills

  • Experience with Visio and Microsoft tools including Excel and PowerPoint highly desired

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
