Warehouse Worker (Outbound)

Anticipated hourly range: $20.00 per hour - $22.85 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)

The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Work schedule is: 10:00am - 6:30pm (or until completion), Monday-Friday (must be flexible to work up to a 12 hour shift). Saturday shifts may also be required due to business needs.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Picking medical supplies for customers' orders

• Packing and staging product for shipment

• Pulling products from overstock to replenish inventory

• Loading trucks for delivery

• Operating forklifts, reach trucks and cherry pickers as needed

Qualifications:

• Comfortable operating all warehouse equipment is preferred

• Ability to consistently lift up to 50Ibs.

• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift

• Comfortable working at heights of 20-30ft. consistently

• Strong communication skills

• 1-2 year's experience preferred

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft office preferred

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
