And so much more.​   ​Come break through with us.  Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use. **Role Purpose** We are seeking a motivated intern to support initiatives in the cost modeling space. This role offers hands-on experience with enterprise tools and data workflows, contributing to high-impact projects within the CLARITY program. **Program Perks:** + Competitive salaries + Assistance with housing and travel + Meaningful project and final project presentation **Intern Activities:** + Social and networking opportunities + Weekly tech talks + Community involvement **Key Responsibilities** + Assist in building and refining cost models using the **ABP-ECM tool** + Support the **transfer and integration of dashboards from Tableau to Power BI** + Contribute to various ongoing projects related to cost analysis and data visualization + Organize and maintain datasets for modeling and reporting purposes + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and validate data **Experiences/Education - Required** **Degree Requirements:** + Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering or Data Analytics **Required Skills:** + Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** , including formulas and pivot tables + Familiarity with **data tools** such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms + Strong **data organization and management** skills + Ability to learn quickly and work independently + Clear communication and documentation abilities **Experiences/Education - Desired** + Coursework or experience in finance, data analytics, or operations + Exposure to enterprise modeling tools such as **Power BI, Tableau, ABP-ECM** , or other cost modeling platforms **This position does not support immigration sponsorship.** ​The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly.
