Sr. Process Improvement Consultant
Hybrid 3 on onsite in Charlotte, NC
Our client is a large, Fortune 500 power and utilities organization serving approximately 7.4 million U.S. customers across the Southeast and Midwest. The company is headquartered in Charlotte, NC. We have supported this environment for many years across development, infrastructure, project management, ERP, and support roles. Consultants report a professional environment with ongoing contract opportunities.

Rate: $59.00 to $64.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Assess current-state processes through stakeholder interviews, workshops, data analysis, and observation.
- Identify pain points, bottlenecks, redundancies, risks, and waste across people, process, and technology.
- Design future-state processes that improve flow, clarity, customer experience, and outcomes.
- Develop process maps, journey maps, value stream maps, and swimlane diagrams.
- Recommend process improvements using Lean, continuous improvement, and human-centered design approaches.
- Prioritize improvements with teams based on impact, effort, and feasibility.
- Support implementation through pilots, experiments, and iterative improvements.
- Define success metrics and help teams track and sustain improvements.
- Facilitate workshops and problem-solving meetings with diverse stakeholders.
- Translate complex process challenges into a simple, shared understanding.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by balancing analytical rigor with empathy and influence.
- Support multiple consulting engagements and contribute to playbooks, templates, and best practices.
- Coach teams and leaders on process thinking and continuous improvement mindsets.
- 5+ years in process improvement, operations, consulting, or continuous improvement roles.
- Proven experience analyzing current-state and designing future-state processes.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs into actionable insights.
- Experience creating process documentation and visuals, including process maps, journey maps, and value streams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Lean Six Sigma certification such as Green Belt or Black Belt.

The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range. W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
