CASUALTY ROLE PLAYER - NTC
- Wear assigned wardrobe and safety equipment while responding accordingly based on the scenario.
- Deliver a realistic performance based on the scenario objectives for training; prohibited from any deviation from the training scenario without guidance from the role player manager.
- Replicate and act in roles as: Local Government Authorities, members of the country security force, members of local tribes and their leaders, members of religious groups and their leaders, refugees and displaced persons oppressed by the former regime, hostile combatant detainees in a prison environment, criminal detainees, and criminal detainees in a prison environment.
- Participate in routine activities (meetings, social events, etc.) within their assigned areas to blend into the local populace.
- Ability to wear moulage (wound simulation) packages and makeup to simulate serious wounds and injuries.
- Stand on feet and lay prone for long periods of time.
- Shall be trained and proficient in the use of simulated/blank firing weapons.
- Must be actual amputee with at least one missing limb.
- Must be able to meet all security requirements for access to a federal installation.
- Possess a High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Possess excellent oral & written skills to include the ability to listen & interpret messages correctly.
- Must possess outstanding communicative skills (verbal & nonverbal).
- Able to speak, read, and write in both English.
- Physically capable of performing assigned work under normally anticipated climatic conditions, such as extreme weather (heat, humidity, sleet, rain, et).
- Able to spend extended periods of time (up to 14 Days at a time) in a field environment with tactical field conditions in all seasons of the National Training Center (NTC) at Fort Irwin, CA.
- Can maintain appropriate level of physical endurance and health to operate in austere tactical field conditions under simulated combat operations and under the life support conditions of the Soldiers in the exercise.
- Do repetitive tasks.
- Able to ride in tactical and/or non-tactical vehicles to include Army Helicopters wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Required to climb or balance, stoop under or squat, kneeling, crouching, and able to move quickly and safely across all types of terrain.
- Able to reach with your hands and arms, talk, and hear.
- Lifting: frequently lift and move up to 70lbs.
- Vision: required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Able to perform periodic travel lasting up to Sixteen (16) days.
