**About The Role:**
As a CBRE Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, you will provide building maintenance and office administration support for an agricultural research and development client location. The purpose of this role is to improve maintenance efficiency by anticipating and eliminating delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts, materials, and services.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Organize work orders and assign them to individual technicians or work teams.
+ Planning and scheduling of future maintenance work performed on-site.
+ Coordinate the engagement and direction of appropriate subcontractors.
+ Work closely with Technicians to stage materials, permits, subcontractors, tools, and other resources.
+ Develop, maintain, and distribute workflow processes to the entire site team to include a 30-day schedule outlook.
+ Forecast, manage, and report work order backlogs to prevent overdue items.
+ Review predictive maintenance data for trends. Provide regular reporting to the management team and client.
+ Perform annual reviews of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
+ Monitor site KPI performance surrounding work order compliance.
+ Develop and maintain Maintenance Planner/Scheduler metrics identified for driving maintenance effectiveness.
+ Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
+ Impact the quality of own work.
+ Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
+ Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
*This role, for the right candidate could be a stepping stone to lead into a Facilities Manager role.
**What You'll Need (Minimum Requirements):**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
+ Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
+ Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
**(Preferred Knowledge and Skills):**
+ Stronly prefer candidates with a mechanical background...IE a Maintenance Technician or Building Engineer.
+ Maintenance work order system administration experience, preferably through IFM Hub/Si7.
+ Experience using Smartsheets and creating dashboards.
+ Training and competencies in maintenance planning and scheduling.
+ Leadership skills.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Management of 3 rd party contractors.
+ Strong experience operating within a set annual budget.
+ Critical thinking and the ability to identify opportunities for time and cost savings.
