We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and other machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and make necessary repairs.

• Conduct preventative maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system diagnostics.

• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.

• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.

• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

• Collaborate with operators and other team members to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in diesel mechanics or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, and electrical systems.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
