Our client, a highly specialized law firm focused exclusively on protecting the interests of financial institutions, is expanding its team in North Carolina. They are searching for a motivated, detail-oriented Foreclosure and Eviction Attorney to join their busy Financial Services Practice Group.

The firm serves as a full-service powerhouse for creditors. Consequently, they need an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking full ownership of a high-volume caseload. Whether navigating the complexities of a contested foreclosure or managing the nuances of a commercial eviction, the ideal candidate brings both technical skill and professional grit to the courtroom.

The Role

As a key member of the litigation team, the attorney will manage all aspects of creditors’ rights matters. Responsibilities include:

• Litigating Foreclosures: Leading judicial and non-judicial foreclosure proceedings from initiation through sale.
• Managing Evictions: Handling landlord/tenant disputes and summary ejectment actions for institutional owners and lenders.
• In-Court Representation: Representing banks and servicers in state courts, appearing at hearings, mediations, and non-jury trials.
• Drafting & Strategy: Preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery while providing clear legal analysis directly to clients.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring every action strictly adheres to the evolving landscape of North Carolina and federal regulations.

What You Bring to the Table

The firm is looking for a self-starting professional who can hit the ground running. Requirements include:

• Experience: Ideally, you possess 1–5 years of legal experience. Direct exposure to foreclosure, collections, or landlord/tenant law is a significant advantage.
• Technical Skills: You must possess strong organizational habits to manage a high-volume docket without sacrificing accuracy.
• Communication: You should be a clear, persuasive communicator who feels comfortable advising sophisticated financial clients.
• North Carolina Licensure: You must be an active member in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.
