Accounting Manager

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team in North Carolina. This supervisory role is pivotal in managing the financial health of the organization by collaborating with various departments and ensuring all accounting practices align with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Finance to meet financial goals and forecasts.
• Oversee accounting staff to ensure proper, timely, and accurate general bookkeeping, reconciliation, and budgeting for all entities and divisions.
• Manage the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Identify and implement cost-effective approaches to set priorities.
• Prepare monthly financial reports by division.

Qualifications

• Education requirement is a Bachelor's Degree.
• Proven experience in a supervisory accounting role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, during the 1st shift.

Benefits

The position offers competitive pay with a range of $50.00 to $57.50 per hour. Additional benefits are available for discussion upon hiring.

Additional Details

This role requires around 0% travel time and is a supervisory position.
