We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a busy endocrinology practice in Asheville, NC. This is a full-time, on-site role with the potential to convert to a permanent position after 6 months. The ideal candidate will be experienced in patient care, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and skilled in supporting physicians during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations
• Assist physicians with minor procedures during visits
• Conduct patient assessments and record medical histories
• Administer immunizations and vaccinations
• Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• BLS certification
• Experience administering immunizations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in high-volume or specialty care settings
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Epic
