International Drilling Equipment is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team.

The AP Clerk is an integral part of the accounting team. This position ensures that all invoices are paid in a timely manner and tracks the outgoing funds of IDE, compiles and maintains accounts payable records. IDE provides high-quality foundation equipment and drill rigs, backed up by client education and ongoing equipment servicing. Essential Duties:

• Codes and posts all vendor invoices to operating system.
• Prepares records for payment runs for managerial review.
• Prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary.
• Tracks receipts for all company credit cards.
• Reconciles credit card receipts to monthly billings and posts expenses to operating system.
• Responds to vendor inquiries.
• Analyzes vendor accounts and negotiates extended terms with vendors.
• Prepares accounts payable checks.
• Compiles accounts payable reports.
• Maintains all accounts payable files.
• Prepares analysis of accounts.
• Assists in monthly closings.
• Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary.

Job Requisites:

Education/Training/Experience:

Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in accounting or 5 years relevant experience

General skill requisites:

• Mathematical, finance and accounting skill set and ability to analyze and present data.
• Computer skills including accounting software, excel and microsoft office programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Problem solving
• Service orientation
• Time management

Specific skill requisites:

• A good working knowledge of accounting principles and techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot issues when necessary

Physical Requirements:

• Use of hands, fingers and wrists frequently

Work Hours and Environment:

• Working hours are M-F 9am to 5:30pm
• Work Environment is an office that is air-conditioned/heated according to the season
• This position reports to the Rural Hall, NC, location

Benefits:

IDE offers a competitive benefits package for full-time employees. You will be eligible to enroll after 90 days of employment.
