Position Overview:
The Senior Staff Accountant manages financial data collection, reporting, and ensures resources are properly handled per the organization’s business plan.
Key Responsibilities:
● Ensure timely and accurate accounting for all transactions and reporting.
● Maintain recurring accounting schedules and processes (daily to annual).
● Produce monthly financial statements and supplemental reports.
● Support year-end audit and tax return preparation.
● Maintain general ledger and reconcile all accounts.
● Assist with payroll, accounts payable, and cash disbursements.
● Update and track fixed assets and depreciation.
● Prepare special financial reports and collaborate on annual budgeting.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
● Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related role.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Proficiency in general financial accounting and GAAP.
